daply

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Daply (“daply,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the daply mobile app and any related websites or services (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Our promise: we will never sell your personal information. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone, not ever. We also do not share your personal information for targeted advertising.

1. Who can use daply

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If the laws where you live set a higher minimum age for using a service like ours, you must meet that higher age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 is using the Service, contact us at the address below.

The Service is not offered in the European Union or the European Economic Area. You may not use the Service if you are located in, or are a resident of, the EU or EEA. We do not target or direct the Service to EU/EEA residents.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the Service:

We do not collect precise location, contacts, or biometric identifiers, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

3. How we use information

That’s it. We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell it.

4. User Content is public

daply is a social app. Content you post — including your videos, thumbnails, move names, your handle, and likes — is public and can be viewed by anyone who uses the Service. Please post only what you are comfortable sharing publicly.

5. When we share information

We share personal information only in these limited cases:

We never sell personal information, and we never share it for advertising.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete your posts at any time in the app. To delete your account and associated personal information, contact us at the address below and we will complete the deletion within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records to comply with law or resolve disputes.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections to our servers and access controls on our systems. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password wherever you sign in.

8. Your choices and rights

To exercise any of these, email us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days and will never discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights under local law — the contact below works for those requests too. As a reminder, we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version at this page and update the effective date above. If a change meaningfully reduces your privacy protections, we will provide notice in the app before it takes effect. One thing will never change: we will never sell your data.
